There WILL be a spelling test next week! List 9 words: stem, scrub, go, one, saw, want, would, spring, spend, needs, spill, & smell NOTE: We are only doing 12 of the 15 words!
NEW SPELLING HOMEWORK- In today’s packet you will find an assignment that is due on Tuesday. Students are to write the 12 words 3 times each and then write 2 sentences using some of the words.
Thank you so much to everyone who sent in items and helped out with the Thanksgiving snack and prayer service. The kids had an awesome time!
Thank you to all those who have sent in items for the school food drive. We have met our goal. However, we will continue collecting food until 12/14.
Next Thursday, the 6th we will be doing an elf craft around 9:00. If you would like to come in and help out, we would love to have you! Please me! The more the Merrier!
Included in the packet is a Scholastic Book order. If you want to do some “secret” shopping let me know and I will hold on to the books when they arrive. Send me an so I know to contact you for delivery. Book orders are due Dec. 5th.!
Secret Santa shop info: SPX will once again be holding a Secret Santa shop in the PAC room. Our day to shop is Wednesday the 12th!
Adopt A Child Donation Day! FYI: Students may dress down on the 14th with a donation to Adopt A Child. A pizza party will be awarded to the class with the largest donation!
Lost and found alert: A blue, Nalgene water bottle was left in the classroom. If you are missing yours, please let me know. It will be sent to our lost and found if not claimed by Monday.

2. First graders will be performing two times on December 4th
First graders will be performing two times on December 4th. 1:30pm for the school and 7:00pm for parents and families. Both performances will be in the SPX Church.  For the school performance, students will need to come to school in their costume. If their costume is something that can be worn over their gym clothes, then they may wear their gym clothes to school that day and put their costume over their gym clothes. No one will be permitted to change in and out of clothes, they may only put costumes over gym clothes if needed.  For the evening performance, students should come dressed in their costume and be dropped off at their classroom between 6:30 and 6:45pm. It is important that students be on time, but the doors WILL NOT be opened to both the school or church before 6:30pm.
