1 Don’t put Robots in charge of the Internet
By: Nicosie Worrell

2 SUMMARY The article was written about robots and their role in regulating infringement on content posted on the internet. Lots of popular website such as YouTube and Facebook use robots to keep infringement regulated. Sometimes however robots tend to infringe on content that has no type of copyright, or sometimes barely any. Some people want robots to continue regulating the internet while some others believe we are giving our freedom of speech away by allowing robots to choose what gets posted on the internet for others to see.

3 IMPORTANT POINTS We cannot allow robots to decide what types of speech we use online because it “builds a wall around our freedom of expression.” Robots are more helpful when they work as an aide because they tend to infringe certain content that has no to very little copyright sometimes. Robots tend to infringe on content that has no copyright at all

4 RELATION TO WHAT WE LEARNED
This relates a lot to what we have learned because so many of us are on the internet multiple hours a day. We always have our phones with us, and sometimes we want to post something. Say you are a YouTube and your content gets taken down because there was some type of copyright.

6 My thoughts Though robots are definitely helpful and they can probably find copyrighted content faster than a human, it is still a risk to have them decide what exactly is copyrighted. I agree with the article when it recommended that robots work alongside humans rather than do the job all on their own. Let’s be honest, if we allowed robots to choose what copyright is then there would nothing entertaining on the internet. Have you ever watched any type of vlog video? They are riddled with memes that react to certain situations.

7 Questions Do you think that we are giving up even a little bit of freedom if we allow robots to regulate the internet? Should we allow robots to take over regulation of the internet or get rid of them all together ? Or is there an in between ? Is it better for robots to regulate faster or humans to regulate more sympathetically?
