2017 Scholarship Program

The San Diego Chapter of the Association for Women in Science (AWIS-SD) is offering scholarships to community college, undergraduate, and graduate women in San Diego County who are pursuing a degree in science, technology, engineering or mathematics. Each recipient will receive a $1000 scholarship award and will be honored at the 2017 WIST Celebration in Spring 2017.
Who can apply?
Female students
Enrolled in the academic year at an accredited college or university in San Diego County
Actively pursuing a degree in science, technology, engineering or mathematics  
Carry a minimum of 3.0 (out of 4.0) GPA at the time of application
How can the money be used?
The award can be used for educational expenses including tuition, books, housing and research.
