1 Outline to essay Adding the vital sentence elements into your outline and transferring them to your paragraphs

2 Intro paragraph Outline Paragraph
Kristallnacht, the “Night of Broken Glass,” was the Nazi’s first major public attack on German Jews. After the Germans’ destruction on Kristallnacht, German Jews knew their lives would never be the same. The Germans planned Kristallnacht, executed their plans heartlessly, and changed Jewish lives forever. Occasion/ Position Statement List Statement

3 Body paragraphs outline paragraph
One component of Kristallnacht that made it more insidious than other pogroms was the depth of its planning. Nazis blamed it on Herschel Grynszpan’s shooting of a German diplomat named Ernst vom Rath. Joseph Goebbels, Minister of Propaganda, and Adolf Hitler asked experienced storm troopers to create riotous violence against the Jews but to make it look like spur-of-the-moment protests (“Kristallnacht.” Encyclopedia Brittanica) . The Nazis planned the destruction of Jewish businesses and instructed police not to stop the chaos unless it threatened non-Jewish property (Heydrich 1)…

4 Conclusion Outline Paragraph
Through its planning, its execution, and its effect on Jews lives, the events of Kristallnacht are some of the most disturbing happenings before the Final Solution began. The “Night of Broken Glass” made the Nazis hatred of Jews and intentions of persecuting Jews chillingly real to them. Kristallnacht clearly demonstrated the Nazi’s ultimate intentions and increased the fears of Germany’s Jewish population.
