8 Now it is time to learn how to dance
Now it is time to learn how to dance. You will have a teacher that will teach you how to do the problems so you can go on stage and rock your performance. Here are your teachers for each type of dance... Ballet-Ms.Rachel Frey Tap-Mr.Anthony Russo Hip Hop-Mr. Kemian Beard Cheer- Ms.Lucy Barz Each type of dance is a level.Have fun!

9 Hello I am Ms. Rachel Frey
Hello I am Ms.Rachel Frey. My favorite kind of dance is ballet which is what you are going to learn to perform. Now, before you can go onstage you have to learn the Math that goes with it. I am going to be teaching you how to identify fractional parts of whole circles. Every question you get right and learn is also another ballet step you will learn. For example, maybe if you get 1/4 of a circle you will also learn how to do a pirouette.

10 Okay, We will start out with a simple problem.
Let's say you have one whole circle. Which one of the following is a half? A B.

11 The answer is A. If you don't understand why it is A, here is the reason. Okay so on both of the answers imagine putting them inside the whole circle to see how much space it takes up. The wrong answer, which in this case is B, would have made you mess up on stage. The reason B was the wrong answer, was because if you had put that piece into the bigger circle it would only have been 1/4, not 1/2. Time for the practice round! If you get all the problems right, you will go on to the performance.

16 Hello, I am Mr. Anthony Russo
Hello, I am Mr.Anthony Russo. This is a video to show you some of what I can do in Tap. This is my favorite kind of dance to teach and perform > I will teach you how to identify fractional parts of whole shapes other than whole circles. That will also teach you how to perform tap. For example, maybe if you get 1/8 of a rectangle you might do a shuffle ball change.

17 Okay let's start out with an easy problem so you can get the hang of it.
Let's say you have one full square. Which of the following is 1/4? A B.

18 The correct answer is B. The reasoning is on both of the answers imagine putting them inside the whole square to see how much space it takes up. The wrong answer, which in this case is A, would have made you get off timing onstage. The reason A was the wrong answer, was because if you had put that piece into the bigger circle it would only have been 1/2, not 1/4. Time for the practice round! If you get all the problems right, you will go on to the performance. Good Luck!

23 Hey my name is Kemmian. My favorite kind of dance is hip hop, but I don't like just regular hip hop, I like to make it different, and make it my own. Right now I am doing something different than I have ever done before. I am going to teach you some math to go along with your dance moves. I will teach you how to identify common whole shapes when you are given a fractional part. I will also teach you how to pop and lock it. For example if i give you 1/4 of a circle and you click on a circle you might do a backflip.

24 Okay let's start out with an easy problem so you can get the hang of it.
Let's say you have this Which of the following is this 1/4 of? A B.

25 The answer is A.

30 Hey. I'm Lucy, and I'll be your cheer coach
Hey! I'm Lucy, and I'll be your cheer coach. I will be helping you identify the part/whole relationship between triangles and other shapes. Each right answer will add a step to your cheer routine. If you get an answer right, you will do a move like a cartwheel or a backbend, and if you get an answer wrong, you will fall over and mess up. Try your best and remember to have lots of pep! Will you make the crowd go wild?

31 How much is shaded in? 1/ /

32 The correct answer is A. There are three parts in the square, and one part is shaded in.

33 How much of this hexagon is purple?
2/6 1/3 1/6

34 How much pizza is lined off?
