BCPS Office of Mathematics PreK-12
The middle school mathematics curriculum continues to Build the Foundation by capitalizing on students' strengths and interests to introduce them to how mathematics can be used as a tool and a language in the various STEM and Humanities fields.
The high school mathematics curriculum provides time to Fortify the Foundation by solidifying students' readiness for post secondary mathematics courses and opportunities that rely on a strong understanding and application of mathematical concepts and skills.
Dumbarton Middle:
Develop a community of confident problem solvers who have an appreciation for mathematics and who grow as mathematicians.

Current 6th & 7th graders will need a passing score of 750
Enroll in a mathematics course in each year of high school2
