The importance of reading

Our reading routine in Key Stage 2

Reading record questions
To be located in the back of your reading record. How did the main character feel when … Can you predict what is going to happen next? Why did the writer use this adjective and not another? Can you think of a story with a similar theme? How are the beginning and end of the story similar? Does the book have a good title and why? What does the word ____ tell you about the character?
