Hermann Ingi: I made one tone of 400 Hz 0.4 in amplitude and one second long. I then calculated the length of half a cycle of 400 Hz by dividing 1 by 800 that equals sec. I made another track and moved the cursor into the position sec. I then generated another tone of 400 Hz that was placed in that position. The result was a slight click at the beginning and at the end of the sound. Those clicks being the seconds (half a cycle) where each tone is being played on its own and not being cancelled out by the other since one begins half a cycle after the other.
