Through a partnership with Learning.com, TCEA will offer all Texas districts a technology literacy assessment for 8th grade students at no cost to the district. The online assessment includes a blend of interactive, performance-based questions and multiple-choice, knowledge-based questions to measure and report technology literacy and skills for middle school students. The assessment will provide districts with the data they need to understand how well students have mastered TA-TEKS.  Middle School Sample

6 Logistics Online assessment delivered to eighth graders via Learning.com—web-based Use the Learning.com app: App Store or Google Play Desktops, laptops and Chromebooks: Does require Flash Player.   Made up of 72 questions (Part 1 and 2 + optional survey) It takes on average 45 minutes. Assessment window: January 1 -June 30, 2019 District, campus, class and individual reports aligned to TA-TEKS Computers that already have Adobe Flash installed may not have it enabled to run on all sites, causing an error message to appear.
