Figure 1 (A), Twelve-week 95°C endotubal lesion. The lesion consists of residual mural smooth muscle (sm) intermixed with fibrous scar tissue and necrotic fat. No residual tubal lumen is present. The numerous small and large clear spaces (arrowheads) were formed by the accumulation of lipid released from the necrotic fat cells. (B), Twelve-week 105°C endotubal lesion.
