Fig. 1 Clinical course. The levels of aminotransferases were remarkably increased, HBsAg was positive, and 21,600IU/ml of HBV DNA was detected on admission. However, aminotransferase levels quickly decreased without HBV antiviral treatment. HBsAg became negative and HBV DNA became undetectable five weeks after admission.
