1.Doctor A sends the referral request to Doctor B from the same window (selects service ,Department and Attention to ,Reason for Request etc and places the order .Signs it
1b.If required to send the referral outside need a print option and a print format .
2.This referral order sent to Doctor B will not be eligible to enter discounts.
3.Order Status Updated as Pending .
3. For IP : Notification goes to Doc B,& Dr B is added as an Attending Care Provider in Medcare .
Doctor B sees the notification ,Acknowledges and replies the Referral
Order Status updates as Active .
Patient is seen in Doc B's Patient list in section Admitted
Doctors examines the patient and places his consultation charges by Consult tab .Bill gets updated .
Order Status gets updated as Complete
For OP : A.in HIS a tentative appointment request is sent WITH A NOTIFICATION IN CLINICARE
B.The patient will go and take the appointment for doc B from appointment desk
C.The patient gets an appointment and visits Dr B .
D. Order Status updates as Active .
E.Patient is seen in the patient list as usual and after the consultation charges are entered
F.Order Status gets updated as Complete

On clicking anywhere on that notification the Referral form filled in opens up in a proper PDF format .

1.Acknowledge
2.Clicking on Acknowledge opens up a Freetext box to Reply & Sign .
3.Acknowledge -sends a Notification back to Dr A .
If no action is taken on consult by Dr B within a fixed period of time (20 mins) – Notification to Doc A .Doc A places new Consult Order (The Notification from Dr B’s screen goes away .)

Reply to referral will be seen back in notification to doc A and against the Referral order in view icon in the OrederReview Screen .
