1. Thesis Application for the Graduation Certificate
Be Prepared to graduate! This timetable combines that of the end phase of the thesis process and of the application process for the graduation certificate. The thesis timetable linked with the graduation dates can be found in Business and Administration’s Reppu.
Thesis Application for the Graduation Certificate
10 weeks before
10 – 7 weeks before
7 weeks before
General Examination 6 weeks before
After completed evaluation
(4-5 weeks before)
4 – 5 weeks before
3 weeks before
The last version to be commented on is to be submitted to the 1st marker
Go to the Student Office and clean the transcript of records if needed (extra and overlapping course entries removed, courses are put in the right categories)
Present your work in a seminar if you have the marker’s permission
Act as an opponent for another student’s work (Please see the Opponent’s Pool)
Finalise your report on the basis of the comments you received from your marker and in the seminar
Submit your abstract to be checked at
Submit your report to be evaluated
Take the maturity test if you have the 1st marker’s permission
Final discussion with your supervisor
A copy of your report to be filed to the 1st marker
Upload your thesis report to Theseus or submit your report bound in hard covers to the library
The Graduation Certificate cannot be handed
Out before the thesis report has been published
Go to the Student Office and clean the transcript of records if needed
Apply for your Graduation Certificate
Please fill in the e-form Application for Award of Degree Certificate (Reppu >Study > Studying and Learning at Savonia > Graduation)
- Sign up for the Alumni register
- Remove your files from the disc drives
- Take the borrowed books back to the library
