Each chromosome and its copy are called sister chromatids
The process of cell division has TWO parts:
Mitosis- active division
Cytokinesis- cell splits into 2

8. Metaphase Chromosomes line up along the METAPHASE PLATE
Held in place by spindle

9. Anaphase
Sister chromatids are pulled apart
Move to opposite poles

10. Telophase Spindle disappears Nuclear membrane formed
Chromatids decondense

11. Cytokinesis
2 daughter cells are formed!
