I had breast cancer in 2008 and opted for a double mastectomy. In 2017 during a routine exam, cancer was found in the same area as before, my right breast. It was surgically removed and in Sept 2018 I began radiation treatment.

This was before radiation on day 3 of my 20 day course. I opted not to have the line up mark tattoos and instead had sharpie with tagaderm overlay (to prevent the sharpie line up marks from washing off in the shower).

After each treatment I put a Bosom Buddy/ soothingskin.care compress on under my clothes. This is after treatment on day 3 of my 20 day course.

This is after day 8 of my 20 day treatment. The nurses tell me that my skin looks much better than most patients and they ask me what I am doing. I tell them I am using Bosom Buddy / soothingskin.care every day after treatment for 30 minutes and then applying aquaphor.

This is after day 9 of my 20 day treatment. I notice that the only area that is red is above the breast. I start putting two Bosom Buddy / soothingskin.care compresses on my skin each day.

This is after day 13 of my 20 day treatment. I can see that the skin above is much redder than the breast. I wish I had used two Bosom Buddy / soothingskin.care compresses from day 1. The nurses are still surprised and want to know what is in soothingskin.care.

I start wearing this stretchy camisole because it helps to keep both compresses in place better than a bra. My skin above my breast is now itchy and I really wish I had started using 2 Bosom Buddy / soothingskin.care compresses every day from the beginning. After 30 minutes I apply aquaphor and re-apply it 2-3x throughout the day.
