4 M6L1 Notes A linear function can be used to model a linear relationship between two types of quantities. The graph of a linear function is a straight line. A linear function can be constructed using a rate of change and initial value.

5 M6L1 Notes It is an equation of a line in which the rate of change is the slope of the line describes how one quantity changes with respect to another quantity. The initial value is the y-intercept.
