A lot of training available but it was more difficult to target it effectively.
In the school sector NAPTA had developed an online tool which can pin point individual training needs.
Once gaps are identified individuals link with locally based training opportunities, many of which take place in their own work environment.
Resources go further and have greater impact.

It revealed that individuals do not necessarily need an entire course or programme, but have small and specific areas for development, many of which can effectively be “topped up”.

Online Self Evaluation System set against the National Occupational Standards ( NOS).
A series of questions that are mapped to the NOS
