We know there are certain things that our mum did for us
Brought us into the world Fed us Nurtured us Consoled us Cleaned up our mess Washing, ironing, cooking, cleaning
8
But have you thought of some of the things mums go through?
The pain of seeing you make bad decisions e.g. Samson’s mum, Moses’ mum The mixed feelings of seeing you leave home e.g. Samuel’s mum, Jesus’ mum
9
At times they also feel a great deal of pride
When you succeed When you make good decisions When you show some appreciation When you smile
10
Mum’s can be special because
They pray for us They hurt when we fight with our siblings They quietly go around behind us and fix things for us They sacrifice things for our happiness

Women can have a significant influence on the next generation
Women can have a significant influence on the next generation Titus 2:3,4,5 Teach the older women to be reverent in the way they live, not to be slanderers or addicted to much wine, but to teach what is good. Then they can train the younger women to love their husbands and children to be self-controlled and pure to be busy at home to be kind and to be subject to their husbands, so that no one will malign the word of God
