Lymphoid tissue with two areas: White and Red pulp
White pulp in charge of creating lymphocytes (some remain in spleen to ingest foreign damaged cell)
Red pulp has many blood channels that act like filter when blood is push through it to capture damaged blood cells then the lymphocytes engulf or destroy this damaged cells.

8. The celial trunk gives rise to the left gastric, common hepatic, and splenic artery
The liver has a dual circulation system: hepatic artery (25% of oxygen rich blood) and hepatic vein (75% of nutrient rich blood)
The spleen receives blood from splenic artery. The spleen is highly vascular, has high concentration of blood channels that trap foreign cells and abnormal red blood cells
