Intragroup and intergroup comparisons of median Hb levels at pretreatment, sixth month, and first year of treatments. Intragroup comparisons of LNG-IUS (χ2 = ; P<.001) and hysterectomy (χ2 = ; P<.001) were statistically significant. Intergroup comparison of LNG-IUS versus hysterectomy at pretreatment (Z = 0.816, P=.415), at sixth month (Z = 0.492, P=.623), and at first year (Z = 1.286, P=.199) was not statistically significant.
