Help Wanted Introduce the HOW concept for the fall season. The best way to help the world around us is to make disciples.

that they may have Life I HAVE COME and have it to the full
-John 10:10 Jesus was all about what he could do to help the world. He was a true shepherd, a giver, not a taker. Takers make the world a brutally competitive and imbalanced place. Are you a taker or a giver. Jesus came to give life.

Ever seen this acronym. It stands for What’s In It For Me
Ever seen this acronym? It stands for What’s In It For Me? The epidemic of what’s in it for me hurts the world. We can’t hover above the world and analyze it’s issues and point at it’s problems. We are certainly either a part of the solution or we are contributing to the problem. Jesus came down for selfless reasons. He got involved, he helped.

I don’t know if you’ve heard this or not but…
I don’t know if you’ve heard this or not but….God actually loves the world (not in the sinful and depraved sense). He loves it because it’s his, he made it and made it wonderfully. He cares a lot. Being godly requires us to have that same attitude.

So, how do WE do it? Have the right view Offer love
Witness about the GOSPEL. The right view is God’s view…the world is not to be escaped, it is to be entered as a mission field. Offering love is well received. Everyone needs love. Everyone wants love. Sharing our faith in Christ and sharing the gospel is a HELP, it is not a “sales pitch”.
