3. Changes in the CAPS Narrative for 2019-20
The MSAA agreement will be renewed effective April 1, 2019 for a 3 year term
The CAPS narrative has been updated to reflect the new LHIN environment and sub-region planning
The CAPS narrative information will not appear in the MSAA Accountability agreement (Schedule A) as it has in the past.
The CAPS Narrative information will be used by the LHIN to help with planning initiatives by better understanding the distribution of services and resources at the program level.

4. Why are we asking for this information?
To assist with planning initiatives at the sub-region level.
To have a better understanding about the scope of individual services throughout the LHINs region.
To have a single annual process to collect/update this information
To ensure the alignment of services across regions for more integrated care and improvement in the patient journey.

5. What does this mean to me?
In this first year, the completion of the CAPS narrative may take you a little longer to complete depending on the availability of information.
In future years we will only be asking for updates so the workload will be significantly less.

6. Submitting the CAPS Narrative
The CAPS narrative should be submitted through SRI with your CAPS by November 16, 2018 using the document feature in SRI
