Mary - The Mother of God Mary said Yes to God. What do you need to say ‘Yes’ to more in your life as it relates to God? Why is it so hard to say yes to what is right and to what God asks of us? Mary experienced suffering throughout her life – the flight into Egypt, the killing of the innocents, poverty, watching her son suffer and die, etc. How can this help you in terms of connecting with her? Why do so many people turn to God only when they are suffering (“There are no atheists in fox holes and emergency rooms”)? Is this the way that it should be? Why? When do you turn to God? What are the times that you find it difficult to turn to God? dEk
