Vocabulary – go over on a Monday, students given 2 weeks to practice skill with packet at home as well as in class. Quiz every other Friday on that skill

1 week notice and extra credit online – 5 points, bring in note/parent
Math Quick Quizzes- 5 questions- nothing to study
Vocab quizzes- based on vocab skill of 2 weeks
Reading quizzes- multiple choice and written response, based on story of the week – going back into text to find evidence
Social Studies- always will have notice and something to study

Birthday treats – half birthdays
Allergy safe snack if your child has allergy
Instrumental Lessons begin 9/17- student will be given schedule to follow
Same day each week, time will rotate, student must catch up on things missed during lesson

17. ESSA and Title One
We are a Title 1 School and receive additional funding
New state and federal regulations guarantee that parents have the right to give input on how we use these funds
Presently, funds are used for Academic Intervention and Family Literacy initiatives
