Conclusions So, which next steps are foreseen for investigations of the NAdEx area? dynamics of the thermohaline front that stretches from Kvarner Bay towards the open Adriatic, which is found highly variable in time, also resembling a near-diurnal wave-like oscillations (as seen by drifters) high-frequency phenomena have been observed in coastal waters, presumably being a result of inertial, tidal (barotropic and baroclinic), topographic (the Adriatic seiche of 21.5 h) and advective processes strongly influenced by the complex coastal topography NAdEx area and the data are a perfect for testing and improving of performance of numerical models in a complex region What else?
