MEAN 3.1 4 9 23 8.5 19 0.17 The average number in the set of data.
Add the numbers. Divide the sum by the quantity of numbers in the set.

MEDIAN 3.1 4 9 23 8.5 19 0.17 The middle number in a set of data.
Put the numbers in numerical order. Starting on the outside numbers, count inwards until you reach the middle number.

MODE The number that occurs most frequently in a set of data.

RANGE The difference between the highest and lowest number in a set of data. Put the numbers in numerical order. Subtract the lowest number from the highest number.
