Journal: Although fiction as a genre, are stories which are not true, how do they describe a culture or make statements about subject areas (ex., politics, the future, relationships)? Library Day – All students must have IDs Checking out fiction novels (minimum 175 pages) Independent Reading Book Report (including lettered and numbered activities) due Tuesday, February 6th, at midnight! Journal: Why are people generally inclined to watch film adaptations or performances of texts? (Besides obvious reasons such as “it’s shorter” or “it’s less work”) How might adaptations and visuals aid comprehension? Give specific examples. Catching Up: The Story So Far… and new characters!
