8 For Older Students: Technology is a great way to enable students to learn at their own pace. Student-led and inquiry-based activities provide ownership and responsibility for learning. Some sites/programs allow for alternative responses—teachers can assess content learning without “penalizing” students who struggle to read or write on grade level. Collaborative websites provide a non-threatening and anonymous way to contribute to class discussions.
