2. LKCS & APAA Telephone Survey Results
I feel welcome and well treated by the staff.
There is an open line of communication between my family and the school.
I have been receiving school correspondence and information in some form (paper, electronic, phone, website) for my child(ren).
My child(ren) feels welcome and well treated by the staff.
If I have a problem, I feel comfortable letting the school know.
I visit the school website at aikenperformingartsacademy.yolasite.com for current information, LKCS Pre-Weekly Reports, Lunch Menus, and news.

3. LKCS & APAA Telephone Survey Results
I visit the school Facebook page or Instagram page for current information and news.
* I understand the Governing Body Meetings are like monthly PTA meeting that provide information about what is going on at the school.
I attended at least one Governing Body Meeting so far this school year.
I look at the school Monthly Calendars.

4. LKCS & APAA Telephone Survey Results
I check my child's bookbag and/or agenda for Teacher notes or correspondence.
I encourage my child to complete his/her/their homework each night.
I have communicated, in some way, with each of my child's Teachers so far this year.

5. Staying Motivated
The LKCS and APAA teaching staff asks that all parents help keep their children motivated. We find as the holiday season begins, some students lose the focus they had when school began. We will continue to offer incentives such as the Halloween Carnival, Santa’s List and special activities.

6. Salvation Army Canned Food Drive

Salvation Army Canned Food Drive
Our Salvation Army Canned Food Drive begins November 1st. We will accept donations from LKCS and APAA students until November 16th. Even one canned or non-perishable food item is a blessing to those in need. Thanks in advance for supporting this community service effort.

7. Early Release and Holiday Breaks
November 1st - 16th – Salvation Army Canned Food Drive
November 6th- Election Day! No Classes!!
November 20th – Title I Incentive LKCS. Early Release Day!
November 22nd thru 24th - Thanksgiving Break (No School)
November 29th – Student Interim Reports
