Cud-partly digested food brought up from the first stomach to the mouth for further chewing.

3. fasting

Fasting-a period of time when one does not eat, usually for religious reasons.

4. Desecrated
“More than 2,000 years ago, the Greeks and the Syrians ruled over the Jewish Holy Land. They forbade the Jews to worship and desecrated the Jewish Holy Temple in Jerusalem.
Desecrate-to treat a holy place with disrespect.

Rededicate-to dedicate again.
