Industrial Revolution
Industrialization- the development of industries in a country or region on a wide scale. Impact: Shift from agriculture society to manufacturing society, faster transportation and communication, mass production of goods and technological advancements

Impact of Boomtowns Boomtown- a town undergoing rapid growth due to sudden prosperity Impact: As the population increases so does business, employment, wealth and housing. Boomtowns brought more people to TX which allowed TX to grow as well.

Urbanization Urbanization- Moving from the rural (country) life to the urban (city) life. Impact: Allowed for people to leave the farms and become wealthy in the city. The population of cities increased which would eventually lead to overcrowding and pollution.
