The survival of patients with single N2 disease and upper lobe primary involvement was significantly better compared with that of those with multiple N2 disease and upper lobe primary involvement (P = .0010) or those with multiple N2 disease and middle-lower lobe primary involvement (P < .0001) and also tended to be better than survival in patients with single N2 disease and middle-lower lobe primary involvement (P = .0900).
