The components of the foundation machinery have to be maintained and improved. Additionally there are several strategic changes that need to be debated and undertaken. Then it is necessary to ask if the organizational structure to accomplish all this is in place and if any revisions would better support the revised objectives or priorities.

Dear mom & dad,
Last time I wrote to you I had just finished a spec for a wireless LAN system that delivered 1 Mbps. Today I worked on a PAR for a system that should deliver well over 1 Gbps , a 1000 fold improvement in speed.
