Develop an online in situ ECV inventory using an online survey tool
Approach
Use CEOS MIM infrastructure so linkage with satellite holdings is straightforward
Request in situ data centers (via WMO) for input
Leverage GCOS Panel expertise in reviewing holdings
GOSIC would be the curator

3. Status Joint with WG-Climate
Currently cooperative with GOSIC (NOAA/NCEI) and NASA / LARC CEOS Inventory [Lief / Stover]
Examining alternative approaches, e.g., use of Obs4MIPs style documentation for metadata extraction
Potential collaboration with other international collaborators for hosting
