This interests me because it just seems like something I would enjoy doing plus I am good at math and science in school.

You would work with a lot of people interviewing them. You work environment would be usually in a booth or the sideline in a stadium filled with thousands of people. You would be working around 9-10 hours a day. You should have a good broadcasting voice and know your sport very well. You need to major in sports communication. Your annual salary would be around $100,000 a year. Usually sports commentators are around for a long time and they don’t hire a lot so it would be hard to get a job. You most likely will not leave your county or even your news station or booth.
