What We’re Learning
Reading
We will spend our 2nd week with the legend called “Yonder Mountain”. Our story skills are: compare/contrast, story message, and homophones/homographs. Our story summative will be Wednesday.
Language Arts
We will begin our next chapter in English. This week we will review correct sentences and capitalizing proper nouns.
Math
We will relate fractions and whole numbers, learn about fractions of a group, and use problem solving to make fractions. Our chapter 8 summative will be next week.
Science & Social
Studies
Science – we will continue learning about traits. A fun family activity about traits will come home this week.
Social Studies – we will learn about famous patriots from the Revolutionary War.
