Scholars of the Island Citizens of the World

2 Advanced Placement (AP) Academy
Our burgeoning Advanced Placement Academy will provide our scholars with the opportunity to accrue college credits in social studies, math, science, English, fine arts, and Spanish. Students may also accrue college credits with our dual credit offerings through Trident Technical College. The research shows if students leave high school with college credits, they are more likely to continue their post-secondary studies. We are proud to be able to offer our students this opportunity in collaborative, supportive environment. Advanced Placement (AP) Academy

We are delighted to continue our community partnerships with Kiawah Island Resorts, The College of Charleston, and The Charleston Area Chamber of Commerce, to name a few. These relationships are paramount to our success as we open the St. John’s Hospitality and Tourism Cohort during the school year. With one of the world’s top tourist destinations in our country, we feel this will be an important part of the St. John’s student portfolio of options for many years to come. At St. John’s we understand post-graduate outcome designs start in grade 9 and illuminate the path to a student’s discovery of their passions and future endeavors. It is with that in mind that we continue to teach and provide access to middle-class norms to create the finest citizens of the world. Hospitality and Tourism Career (HTC) Academy
