Task Scenario Upon receiving a dispatch to the scene of an automobile accident, a patrol officer is required to complete the following form:

Task Scenario (cont.) When returning to the police department, the information is now being required to be digitally stored via a computer interface. The individual who enters the information into the system will be required to login before entering the system to insure identity.

Please open “index.htm” in Microsoft Internet Explorer (or compatible browser)
Click “LOGIN” To proceed.

Based on the case #, the system will determine if this is a new report or an edit of an existing report. Click “start” to continue

At each page, the user has the option to proceed or cancel

At this point, users can add as many additional vehicles OR non-motorists as necessary. They are no longer limited to two.

Task Scenario (cont.) After login the user will then be allowed to access the interface upon which the data will be entered. Also worth noting is that the person who is required to enter the information into the system is familiar with the layout of the paper form.
