Remember, not just about the person, how did their actions affect the empire? Their legitimacy? Try to move beyond stating the obvious. Lets do an example….

Think-Pair-Share Get with Martin Luther Partner
Read their nomination statement (thesis) and their first core argument After reading, what suggestions do you have? Is evidence clear/specific? Is analysis more than stating obvious? What could make it more complex? Are you clear how their actions affected empire or legitimacy?

Have one read your nomination statement and give feedback (and vice versa) Have one read a body paragraph and give feedback (and vice versa) FEEDBACK MUST BE WRITTEN DOWN! You cannot get a computer later without this!

One person get a laptop…
Decide who is Partner A and Partner B. When I say go Partner A will share their feedback clicking through slide-by-slide. Partner B may not speak. After a few minutes, you will switch and Partner B will explain their feedback while Partner A listens. After a few minutes, it will become a dialogue.
