1 SOP of Reset Maximum Demand
on PMC-509 using PMC Setup December 2013

2 Preparations Before using PMC Setup to connect to the PMC-509 meter via a RS- 485 port, make sure the port is not occupied by other programs. If the PecSCADA is communicating with the PMC-509 meter, the user needs to disable the device before using PMC Setup. select the device and right-click on it, select Enable/Disable

3 Preparations a warning message appears. Click Yes to confirm.
when the device is disabled, an event is generated as below: enter the user name and password. Then

4 Using PMC Setup Start PMC Setup, enter the correct user name and password. By default, the user name is ROOT, no password. Add a site and a device for the PMC-509 meter. Select the meter on the right-hand pane, and click Setup from the tool bar.

5 Using PMC Setup The PMC-509 Setup window appears. Click Connect.
Click Setup Manual Operate. The Confirm dialog box appears. Click OK. No password.

6 Using PMC Setup The Manual Operate window appears. Double-click Clear Demand Max. A window appears. Click OK to confirm the operation. After the command is sent out, the result information appears as below.

7 Using PMC Setup After the command is executed, close the window.

8 Using PMC Setup Exit the setup window. Click Data from the tool bar.

9 Using PMC Setup Navigate to the Max Value tab to verify the values have been reset. Quit PMC Setup.

10 If the device is disabled for communicating with PecSCADA, please enable it to resume communication.
