Topic: What role did the development of tools and agriculture play in the development of early stone age? Task Description: You will view the Prezi to gain information on the creation of new tools that lead to agriculture. Featured Source: Stone Age Prezi Featured Tech Tools: Prezi Laptop or desktop computer with Internet access Steps: Log into the computer using your username and password. Click the link to the right and view the Prezi with your shoulder partner. Explore the different era/ages tools and discuss with your shoulder partner. Assessment: Formative assessment during class discussion.

Steps: Using your iPad or laptop, join the Quizizz game called Hunters-Gatherers to Complex Villages using the code on the board. Take the quiz once. Take the quiz a second time to see if you can beat your first score. Be ready for a whole class discussion on the content. Featured Source: Quizizz Featured Tech Tools: iPads or laptops with Internet access Teacher Name: Robin Stutes School: WW Lewis Address: Special Considerations: You will need a Quizizz account; Find and link the Quizizz using before using with your class. If browser is set for Internet Explorer you need to copy and paste the link into Google Chrome for it to work properly. Assessment: Formative assessment using question results in Quizizz

Summative Performance Task 3 MODIFICATION Topic: What role did the development of tools and agriculture play in the development of early stone age? Task Description: You will describe the tools of each era and their uses. Featured Source: Featured Tech Tools: Google Slides Laptop or desktop computer with Internet access Steps: Divide into your groups. Click onto the link to the right to access the Google Slides. Each group will use their assigned Google Slide to describe one tool in the era assigned, tell the usage, and explain how it contributed to the development. Use the rubric to make sure that you have included all needed elements. Teacher Name: Robin Stutes School: WW Lewis Address: robin. Special Considerations: You will need to make a copy of the Google Slideshow for each class that you use it with. If browser is set for Internet Explorer you need to copy and paste the link into Google Chrome for it to work properly. Assessment: Summative assessment- You will need to create a rubric to use to score students Google Slide.

Topic: What role did the development of tools and agriculture play in the development of early stone age? 6th Grade Unit 1 Summative Performance Task 4 REDEFINITION TASK DESCRIPTION: Each group will develop and present a video or screencast on the Stone Age Era assigned to show the tools which led to the development of agriculture. Featured Source: Tellagami app Featured Tech Tools: iPads Apple TV or Air Server Promethean board Laptop or Desktop Computer with Internet access Steps: 1. Using the information that was acquired during class activities and discussions, prior knowledge, and content videos to create a video using the Tellagami app. 2. This video should include pictures, facts, and a collaborated group explanation. 3. Every group member will have a part in the presentation of the video. 4. Upon completion, review with your group. 5. View the class videos by mirroring the class videos using Apple TV or Air server onto the Promethean Board. 5. When all groups have completed their videos, each of you will need to comment with at least two sentences to give feedback on a video from another class. Assessment: Summative assessment-a rubric for the Tellagami video will need to be created prior to completing this activity.
