‘Plant / Equipment Register’
[Manage Plant Allocation] Assets Register Once an Item has been added to the Plant / Equipment Register in Vault, its allocation to People or Vehicles can be recorded so that Vault remains up-to-date with an auditable trail of the items use across the Organisation Allocating or deallocating an item is managed from the item’s record in the Plant / Equipment Register This is found under Assets in the Menu Bar ‘Plant / Equipment Register’

[Manage Plant Allocation] Edit Item
Find the item in the Register, then click Actions, then Edit Click the Allocate tab

[Manage Plant Allocation] Add Allocation
The register shows the details of all recorded current and historical allocations for the selected item, included the dates allocated and returned To allocate the item, click Add

[Manage Plant Allocation] Allocation Details
Select whether the item is being allocated to a Worker, Contracted Worker or Transport Item Next, begin typing the name of the person or vehicle that the item is being allocated to. Smart Search will help locate the right entry as you begin to type Finally, select the date allocated by either typing the date or locating it in the calendar, and click Save Allocation

[Manage Plant Allocation] Delete Allocation
The allocation is saved, and is now visible in the register If a mistake was made, the allocation record can be deleted by clicking Actions, then Delete

[Manage Plant Allocation] Deallocation
To deallocate, click Actions, then Edit, then enter the date the item was returned and click Save The register is now updated Note that an item can only be allocated to one person or vehicle at a time. If the Add button cannot be selected, check for allocations without a Returned date in the register
