12 Sample Landscape Company Culture
People.  We treat each other with dignity and respect. We recognize and respect every role and its value within the organization. We listen to each other and seek to understand different points of view.   Determination.  We are proactive, problem solvers. We get the job done with an optimistic, can-do attitude.  Empowerment.  We take initiative in making decisions to act in the best interest of our people, customers and suppliers. We give permission and freedom to bring forth new ideas. We embrace continuous improvement to intentionally improve ourselves, our services and reputation.  Integrity.  We do the right thing, even when no one is watching. We are honest with our mistakes, open to feedback and determined to resolve any conflict.  We are professional, maintain high standards, take pride in our work and respect our fellow team members.

Embrace people development as a priority. Become a really good coach. Identify potential and develop the leaders you need. Get behind succession planning -- don’t stop until your “bench” is complete. Reproduce yourself -- work yourself out of a job.

20 Do I Need Permission? Is it aligned with Mission and Intent?
Is it legal and moral? Is it good for the customer? Are you prepared to take responsibility for the outcome? If the answer to all four questions is YES, you already have my permission.
