Being a Living Sacrifice
Romans 11 is often used as a prooftext for Calvinism. This fails because the Calvinistic interpretation is at odds with other Scriptures. Scriptures are understood in light of other Scriptures; therefore, we understand this chapter from the total of the Bible

4. The Priests of God
We are repeatedly called priests of God (Jesus) has made us kings and priests to His God and Father, to Him be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen Revelation 1:6

Eph 4:22 that, in reference to your former manner of life, you lay aside the old self, which is being corrupted in accordance with the lusts of deceit, 23 and that you be renewed in the spirit of your mind, 24 and put on the new self, which in the likeness of God has been created in righteousness and holiness of the truth.
1Co 2:16 For WHO HAS KNOWN THE MIND OF THE LORD, THAT HE WILL INSTRUCT HIM? But we have the mind of Christ.
