Golf Group Procedures
6
Golf Group Procedures Golf Groups are required to notify Golf Ops and the respective Pro Shop 4 days in advance with their guaranteed number of tee times. Newly released tee times will be made available to other Groups, Members and Guests in order to maximize the tee sheet. 24 hour notice remains in effect for submitting group Member #, name and pairings. If you need to request additional tee times for your group, you will need to call or the Golf Operations office prior to your day of play to make the request. To accommodate your request your group may need to be moved in or out of a shotgun or to another course.
7
Golf Group Procedures Following is the Golf Group Call-In Schedule:
8
Golf Group Procedures Rosters should include:
Turn in players names and membership numbers 24 hours before tee time to Golf Ops and Pro Shop where playing. Golf Operations: Kingswood/Berksdale: BVCC: Dogwood/Brittany: Scotsdale: Highlands: Rosters should include: Name of group Team captain and team members Member numbers Member names (first and last names, please) Type of membership (AGGF, ASL, PCR, PID, MBR) If there are changes, please contact the Pro Shops and Golf Ops office.
9
Golf Group Procedures Shotgun check in the day of play:
Hole assignments will be posted in the Pro Shop and outside Captain to collect team’s money and pay for team and pick up player tags. (AGGF’s are required to check-in for Shotgun starts) Cash or check helps speed up the check-in process! Group Leaders should let Pro Shop know of “no shows” and changes These steps will lead to an easier and faster check in process!
10
Golf Group Procedures Failure to follow the new process: (Example, you’ve guaranteed 12 times and actually show up with 9 tee times.) 1st offense: Golf Group receives written warning. 2nd offense: Golf Group will have their pre-booked tee times reduced by 20% for the next 3 months and be placed on one month probation. 3rd offense: Within the one month probation, Golf Group will lose their advance tee times for 6 months. Note: In order to accommodate medical and the unforeseen circumstances, groups may show up with 10% less of their guaranteed number of players and remain in compliance. Bad weather and carts on path days will not be held against the golf group.
