The ITS Help Desk is one of the best resources on campus, don’t be afraid to ask them questions!
Establish wireless network connections
Assist with network registration
Assist with setting up Gmail on mobile devices
Remove spy ware, ad ware, viruses
Provide and install anti-virus programs
Set-up library printing
Reset passwords
Install MS-Office applications on student's media

3. ITS General Information
Main ITS Office is located in Horan O’Donnell Room 016

4. Wireless Internet (WiFi) On Campus
Residents living on campus
Your WiFi network is MyResNet when you’re in your room
Anywhere else on campus
CanisiusWireless
Sign-in with your Canisius username and password (provided to you on your acceptance letter)
You will use this to sign into anything related to your Canisius online account ( , financial aid, etc.)

5. Computer Labs
Groups of computers located all around campus with Internet access – the library and the commuter lounge are open whenever buildings are open
Other computer labs require granted swipe access

6. Printing Stations
Located in the library, labs, and some hallways around campus
Click “print” on whichever document you wish to print and select either “MyGrayscalePrintJob” or “MyColorPrintJob”
When print job goes through, it goes to a “cloud” (like Apple products) of jobs waiting to be released at the printing stations
To print a document:
Go to a printer
Swipe your Canisius ID card to see the list of print jobs waiting in the queue
Select the print-job you sent to the printer and select print
Each semester a $15 credit toward printing and copying is allotted to each student (about 300 black and white pages a semester)
You can add more printing credit to your card at anytime through the myCanisius portal
Any unused printing allowance will roll over to the following semester’s allowance

11. Mail Room Services
The Mailroom is located in Science Hall on the first left
Each student living on campus is assigned a mailbox (your key was given to you when you checked-in)
Letter-sized or smaller pieces of mail will be delivered to your mailbox
Any larger item will be delivered to the packing services office
You will receive an notification saying that your package has arrived
