JUNE DATES ??? Friday, June 14 - Grad Ceremony at CLA 7:00 (Grads there by 6 pm. Guests must be seated by 6:45 – doors open at 6:15) Friday, June 21 - Grad Dinner/Dance at Coast Hotel, Langley – 6:30 pm Dinner; grads there by 5:30 pm for group photo

Are You “Walking the Stage?”
“in a position to graduate…” 80 credits (48 credits for required courses, 28 elective credits, and 4 credits for Graduation Transitions). 16 of these credits must be at the grade 12 level. Any courses in progress outside of Langley Secondary, must be 80% complete with a passing grade as of May 1 Any courses in progress at Langley Secondary must have a passing or near passing grade as of May 1st Graduation Transitions 12 must be complete by May 1st

Students’ grad and student fees must be paid prior to receiving/purchasing tickets for the Graduation Ceremony or the Graduation Dinner & Dance. Grad Ceremony Ticket Information 3 free tickets in the week of May 14 additional tickets? need to submit form to the office BY May 11 Additional tickets are $10/each

Schedule for June 14, 2019 10:00-1:30 MANDATORY Rehearsal for all Graduates at Christian Life Assembly (includes lunch) 6:00 pm ALL graduates must be at CLA in the gym 6:15 pm Doors open to guests with tickets 6:45 pm GUESTS must be seated 7:00 pm Ceremony Begins Gowns and stoles returned at the end; caps and tassels are yours to keep

Grad Banquet – June 21, 2019 Coast Hotel, Langley
Students must arrive at venue by 5:30 for a group photo Student and Guest (Including Parents) Tickets: $65 per person We have a commitment to fill seats for dinner first. If we reach our commitment we will release tickets to parents for dessert/coffee only ($15 each). Tickets will go on sale 2nd week of May. Banquet tables are arranged with 10 seats. Guests not from LSS must be pre-approved

Who has to do this? Everyone! But AVID will be done with their classes
Students who have taken and ITA program (eg. Piping and Plumbing) Students doing an adult grad (you will know if this is you).

When is my interview? Tuesday March 5 or Wednesday March 6
Schedule will be posted March 1 If there is a conflict Mrs. Testini can be contacted via Or in person Friday, March 1 at lunch in the castle lobby

When do I find out who is interviewing me?
When you have your interview! Can I request an interviewer? No, sorry!

Where is the interview and how long will it be?
In the library ~15 minutes

What other information do I need to know?
Arrive 10 minutes before Dress for an interview Bring one or more artifacts

What is an Artifact? Each student is responsible for bringing an item(s), something that demonstrates a passion they have that is relevant to their journey through and/or beyond secondary school. Some examples include: Photos A project that you are proud of Artwork A video Musical instrument Sports equipment
