2 Mood Verbs Used to make a factual statement
Ex: The cafeteria is serving hamburgers for lunch. Used to ask a question Ex: What is your favorite dessert? Used to express a command or request (usually the subject is implied – you) Ex: Pack your lunch. Mood Verbs Used to indicate a conditional state that will cause something else to happen Ex: If I am hungry, then I will make a sandwich. Shows a wish, doubt, or expression (rarely used). Ex: If I were you, I would order Taco Bell for lunch.
