A pupil who attains 70% or higher on average for every subject at the end of Sec 2 (Normal Technical) may be transferred to Sec 2 Normal Academic Course, if deemed able to cope with the demands of the Normal Academic course.
Autonomy is given to schools to assess the suitability of students for lateral transfers to a more academically demanding course.
