Liliaceae Inflorescence: Usually solitary(Tulipa,Lilium) , raceme (Asphodelus),Scapigerous(Allium)
Flower:Bracteate,pedicellate,complete,actinomorphic,mostly bisexual,hypogynous , trimerous rarely dimereous. Perianth:Usually six in two whorls of three each,free(Lilium,Tulipa) or fused (Aloe,Allium, Asparagus); peranth tube companulateo or cylindrical.

Androecium: Six;in two whorls of three each,epiphyllous ; anthers bithecous,basifixed(Allium,Tulipa) or versatile (Asparagus ,Lilium) or dorsifixed (Aloe) Gynaecium:Tricarpellary,syncarpous, superior, trilocular , placentation axile with many ovules.Style simple(Asparagus,Asphodelus)with trifid stigma with trifid stigma Fruit:Loculicidal capsule Seed;Endospermic

Gramineae(Poaceae) Inflorescence: Spike of spikelets.The spikelet has 3-5 florets enveloped by two glumes;1or 2 florets may be sterile.Lemna 5or 6 nerved,awned;palea keeled and boot shaped. Flower:Bracteate(Lemna),bracteolate(Palea),sessile,zygomorphic,bisexual,hypogynous,cyclic and small. Perianth:The Perianth is represented by two lodicules that are small and scale like and are present outside the stamens and at the base of ovary towards the anterior side of the flower. Androecium:It consists of three stamens that are free and have long filaments with anthers basifixed(Avena)or dorsifixed (Triticum) , bithecous,dehiscence longitudinal extrose. Gynaecium:The gynaecium is monocarpellary, syncarpous, uni-locular,ovule one,erect, ovary hairy,style absent and stigmas lateral(Avena) or yerminal(Triticum) Seed:Endospermic Fruit:Caryopsis
